MonsterVision is an American variety series that aired on TNT from March 1, 1993 to September 2000. The series was hosted by Joe Bob Briggs from 1995 to 2000, and featured classic B and cult films from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.

Penn and Teller guest-hosted MonsterVision marathons before Briggs came on board as the full-time host. Late in its run, the show changed formats, discarded “Last Call,” and became Joe Bob’s Hollywood Saturday Night and Monstervision.

The Guild is an American comedy web series created and written by Felicia Day, who also stars as Cyd Sherman. It premiered on YouTube on July 27, 2007. Seasons two through five webisodes premiered on Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace, Zune Marketplace, and MSN Video. The webisodes were later made available on the official Guild website, YouTube, and iTunes. According to Day, Microsoft’s business model changed after season five; Day wanted to keep ownership, so the episode premieres moved to Day’s YouTube channel Geek & Sundry. The webisodes are also available via DVD and streaming on Hulu and Netflix.

The show revolves around the lives of a gamers’ online guild, The Knights of Good, who play countless hours of a fantasy MMORPG video game entitled The Game. The story focuses on Codex, the guild’s Priestess, who attempts to lead a normal life after one of her guild-mates, Warlock Zaboo, shows up on her doorstep.

Joss Whedon credits The Guild as one of the inspirations for Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, which also starred Felicia Day.

The sixth season premiered on Geek & Sundry on October 2, 2012.

In a phone interview after the end of the sixth season, Felicia Day confirmed that The Guild webseries is complete.

There was a time when the Hachimitsu Private Academy was a revered and elite all-girls’ boarding school on the outskirts of Tokyo but a recent policy revision is allowing boys into the student body. On his first day, Kiyoshi Fujino discovers that he’s one of only five boys enrolled at the school. Lead Balloon is a British television series produced by Open Mike Productions for BBC Four. The series was created and is co-written by comedian Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair. It stars Dee as Rick Spleen, a cynical and misanthropic comedian whose life is plagued by petty annoyances, disappointments and embarrassments. Raquel Cassidy, Sean Power and Tony Gardner also star. The first series of six episodes was broadcast on BBC Four in 2006, with the first episode achieving the highest ratings for a comedy on the channel. Repeats of the series were run on BBC Two and BBC HD, bringing it to a larger audience. A second series of eight episodes aired on BBC Two in November 2007, and a third series began airing in November 2008. A fourth and final series commenced broadcast on 31 May 2011 on BBC Two and ended on 5 July.

Comparisons were made by critics to the successful American comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, and positive comments were made about Lead Balloon’s characters, particularly Magda, the Eastern European housekeeper. The first series was released on DVD in November 2007. The show’s theme tune is a cover version of “One Way Road”, written by Noel Gallagher and performed by Paul Weller.

Outsourced is an American television sitcom set in an Indian workplace. It is based on the John Jeffcoat film of the same name and adapted by Robert Borden of George Lopez and Universal Media Studios for NBC. The series originally ran from September 23, 2010 to May 12, 2011. The show was officially picked up by NBC on May 7, 2010 and on October 18, 2010, the show received a full season order. Outsourced was filmed at Radford Studios in Studio City, Los Angeles, California.

When the renewal of the show was not announced with renewal of other NBC shows, the cast and crew started a campaign for fans of the show to request its renewal. On May 13, 2011, NBC announced that Outsourced was cancelled.

Outsourced is set in a call center in Bombay, India, where an American novelties company has recently outsourced its order processing. A lone American manages the call center and must explain American popular culture to his employees as he tries to understand Indian culture.

A comedy examines one man’s life over a 50-year span. It explores three distinct periods in his life – as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 40-year-old in present day and a 65-year-old in 2042.
