Take Me Out is a British social experiment television show hosted by Paddy McGuinness. It is based on the original Australian show Taken Out and began airing on ITV in the UK and TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 2 January 2010; in September 2010, TV3 started broadcasting an Irish version of the show. The pilot episode was for Channel 4 in 2009. The series is produced by Thames for ITV.

The first series was filmed at Granada Studios, but due to the success of the first series, the second series was filmed at The Maidstone Studios in Maidstone, Kent which offered increased space and capacity for audience members. A third series ran from 7 January to 7 April 2012. On 14 August 2012, it was announced that Take Me Out had been renewed for two more series by ITV, along with spin-off show Take Me Out: The Gossip. The fourth series began on 6 October 2012—making it the first time that two full series of the show have aired in the same year—and ended on 1 December 2012. A Christmas celebrity special aired on 15 December 2012, featuring Matt Johnson, Keith Lemon and Joe Swash. A fifth series of eight episodes, significantly shorter than previous series, began on 5 January 2013 and ended on 23 February 2013.

Dexter’s Laboratory is an American comic science fiction animated children’s television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series follows Dexter, a boy-genius with a secret laboratory filled with his collection of inventions. Four shorts were created and broadcast on Cartoon Network in 1995 and 1996 before viewer approval ratings convinced the network to order a 13-episode first season, which premiered on April 28, 1996. By 1999, 52 episodes and a television movie had been produced, and Tartakovsky then left the series to begin work on his other projects, Samurai Jack and Star Wars: Clone Wars. The Guild is an American comedy web series created and written by Felicia Day, who also stars as Cyd Sherman. It premiered on YouTube on July 27, 2007. Seasons two through five webisodes premiered on Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace, Zune Marketplace, and MSN Video. The webisodes were later made available on the official Guild website, YouTube, and iTunes. According to Day, Microsoft’s business model changed after season five; Day wanted to keep ownership, so the episode premieres moved to Day’s YouTube channel Geek & Sundry. The webisodes are also available via DVD and streaming on Hulu and Netflix.

The show revolves around the lives of a gamers’ online guild, The Knights of Good, who play countless hours of a fantasy MMORPG video game entitled The Game. The story focuses on Codex, the guild’s Priestess, who attempts to lead a normal life after one of her guild-mates, Warlock Zaboo, shows up on her doorstep.

Joss Whedon credits The Guild as one of the inspirations for Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, which also starred Felicia Day.

The sixth season premiered on Geek & Sundry on October 2, 2012.

In a phone interview after the end of the sixth season, Felicia Day confirmed that The Guild webseries is complete.
